Slow Sundays in the Studio · A monthly open day
On the first Sunday of each month Natasha welcomes the public into her weaving studio to learn about weaving, enjoy demonstrations and purchase her work.
You can even have a go at weaving yourself and make a cute and colourful mug rug to take home for free.
Natasha shares the studio with her father rural artist Graham Christensen, so it’s a great opportunity to enjoy both artist’s work in one location.
Slow Woven Textile Studio is just five minutes from Ashhurst Village which has four lovely cafes The Village Coffee & Co, The Local Backyard, The Herb Farm Cafe and Gorge Quarter which are all open Sundays.
Upcoming dates: 4 January, 1 February
Groups/clubs are welcome by appointment.
Address: 84 Glenburn Road (off Napier Rd), Ashhurst. Just 10 minutes from Palmerston North.
*Number 84 is right at the top of Glenburn Road, so wind your way up the hill until you get to the end. See you there!
